Kristin advocates for individuals in Massachusetts, helping them with mortgage and loan modification issues, foreclosure defense, mortgage litigation, debt collection defense and lawsuits, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act violations, and other consumer protection matters.

Prior to her career in law, Kristin worked in the financial services field, mutual funds and shareholder services, and financial planning.

She is active in the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

In our community, Kristin was a volunteer/mentor for the Department of Children and Families and is passionate about her support for Paws New England Dog Rescue.

MAJOR CASES KRISTIN HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN:

• Litigating against debt collectors under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
• Litigating against credit reporting agencies for incorrect credit reporting,
• Suing banks and mortgage servicers for claims of unfair practices related to foreclosure and loan modifications, even voiding foreclosures in some instances.
