Lakai Vinson is a native North Carolinian who received her Bachelors from Hampton University in Virginia. She obtained her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Law in 2008 and is licensed to practice in both Virginia and North Carolina courts. Her main focus is civil litigation and personal injury. She also practices as a court-appointed attorney with the Mecklenburg County Courts for individuals who cannot afford traditional legal costs. Lakai has received the Super Lawyers “Rising Star” Award, the Virginia Young Lawyer’s Superstar award, and was named in the American Institute of Legal Counsel’s 10 Best Personal Injury Attorneys. She obtained the third largest verdict of eight million dollars in Virginia in 2015.
