Hello! I'm a partner with Caldwell, Carlson, Elliott & DeLoach (formerly known as Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach) focusing my practice on all types of trust, estate, fiduciary, and business litigation. My firm is one of Georgia's premier fiduciary and probate litigation firms, and I and my colleagues have handled cases both big and small all over metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia. I am licensed to handle matters exclusively in Georgia (Georgia estates and trusts and matters pending in Georgia state and/or federal courts). 

I represent clients in a wide variety of fiduciary and business litigation matters in both state and federal courts. While my expertise is primarily in cases involving complex, high-asset estates, trusts, and business entities, I also love working with clients on simple and straightforward estate and trust administrations.

In my career, I have represented any and all parties to a litigation matter, including plaintiffs, defendants, executors, trustees, other fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and third parties in related litigation. No matter what side you fall on, I'd be glad to talk to you.

I have experience with jury trials, bench trials, and appeals, and I'm admitted to practice in all Georgia state and superior courts, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. If you have a matter pending in any of those courts, I'm familiar with their procedures and ready to hit the ground running immediately.

As examples of some of my experience, I have conducted or co-chaired jury trials resulting in a collective $8.5 million in verdicts for my clients--including $5 million in punitive damages. I have also presented oral argument in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and obtained summary judgment for my client on all claims in a multimillion dollar corporate ownership dispute. I've argued and won significant motions for my clients in state and federal courts, as well as complex appeals in business and probate matters. 

For 7 years in a row (2018-2024), I have been selected by Georgia Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in trust and estate litigation, a distinction given to only 2.5% of Georgia attorneys.

I received my bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where I was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I obtained my J.D., magna cum laude, from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, graduating fifth in my class. Prior to joining Caldwell, Carlson, Elliott & DeLoach, I practiced family law with another established firm in Atlanta.

I was raised in Asheville, North Carolina, and moved to Atlanta in 2014. I enjoy hiking in the north Georgia mountains, cooking, and photography. I am an avid traveler, and my favorite destinations in the world so far include Iceland, Norway, Morocco, Finland, Estonia, and South Korea.
