Lauren F. Riesenfeld serves as the principal member of Lauren F. Riesenfeld Law,P.C., and concentrates her practice on Divorce/Family Law and Criminal law.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Riesenfeld worked as a junior accountant. Her experience as a junior accountant has contributed to her thorough understanding of custody related matters as well as financial issues, including but not limited to, business valuations and tax issues. This understanding allows Ms. Riesenfeld to settle most cases while resorting to litigation when necessary.

Upon graduating from New York Law School, Ms. Riesenfeld began working for a prominent Matrimonial Law firm located in Garden City, New York, where she was trained by one of the leading matrimonial attorneys in Nassau County. As a defense attorney, Ms. Riesenfeld represents clients through all stages of criminal defense proceedings, and has represented clients accused of felonies and misdemeanors.

Ms. Riesenfeld is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Chapter, Suffolk County Bar Association, the National Association of Divorce Professionals, is a memeber of Lawyers of Distinction, and is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Riesenfeld received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and attended the University of San Diego School of Law program in Barcelona, Spain, where she studied International Criminal Law. Ms. Riesenfeld has been awarded the Client's Choice Award for 2016 and 2017.
