Mr. Charney has extensive diversified Transactional and Intellectual Property experience as an attorney gained from his affiliations with the RCA Records label, where he served as General Counsel, and associations with television and motion picture entities.

Mr. Charney’s active private practice emphasizes transactional arrangements of clients in the business/commercial fields of advertising, product exploitation, Internet (including web design and hosting services), consumer informational services, merchandising, design, art and education. His practice also includes creation of legal entities and copyright and trademark matters.

The services provided to clients by Mr. Charney include negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts; counseling on terms of proposed arrangements with others; preparation of incorporation documents; and preparation of trademark applications for registration.
