Dr. Lloyd A. Newton holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Dallas, as well as J.D. from St. Mary's University Law School in San Antonio. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Newton taught a wide range of courses from Greek and Latin to literature and geometry, and at all levels--from junior and school (including at Central Catholic) through college (including St. Mary's University) and even graduate classes at one of the leading Universities in Europe.

On the academic side, Dr. Newton has translated and published logical and ethical works from medieval Latin as well as published in peer reviewed journals.

On the practical side, Dr. Newton has renovated over a dozen houses, and runs a thriving rental business.
