Biography
Lloyd Quesenberry has a general business practice, including business transactions, real estate, oil and gas work, and wills and estates. He also serves as a mediator. Lloyd graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992, receiving a B.A., with Distinction. After graduation, he served in the United States Peace Corps in Namibia. Upon returning to the United States, he attended the University of Iowa College of Law, receiving his law degree, with Distinction, in 1997. While attending law school, Lloyd served as Associate Editor of the Iowa Law Review and as a research assistant.
Lloyd served a one year federal judicial clerkship in Dallas, Texas, before joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, a large international firm based in New York. At WGM, he gained experience in a wide variety of complex business matters including IPOs, commercial bankruptcies, mergers, acquisitions, public finance and corporate governance. Lloyd has practiced law in Grand Junction since 2003.
Lloyd served on the Mesa State College Foundation Board of Directors and the Mesa County Bar Association (MCBA) Board of Directors. He previously served as president of the MCBA and Senior Vice-President for the Colorado Bar Association. Lloyd is a regular speaker on business planning and estate planning issues.
Lloyd enjoys many of the activities the Western Slope has to offer, such as hiking, motorcycling and mountain biking.
