With more than 15 years defending people against criminal charges, Lori is an experienced and passionate lawyer in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Buffalo office, where she is an Associate. She is able to represent anyone charged with a drug crime, property crime, violent crime, DWI, or sex crime both at the state and federal level. Additionally, she provides traffic ticket representation.

Lori is a Buffalo native who first honed her skills in criminal law by working in the Louisville Metro Public Defenders in Louisville, Ky., where she represented criminal defendants at all charge levels, including felony and misdemeanor offenses. After this experience, she operated a solo criminal defense practice in Louisville and Buffalo. Most recently, she worked for a Williamsville law firm, where she continued defending Western New Yorkers facing criminal charges. For several years, she has participated in the Erie County Bar Association’s Assigned Counsel Program, where she represents criminal defendants.

Lori received her juris doctorate from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. At the State University at Fredonia, in Fredonia, N.Y., she received a Bachelor’s of Science in communications and a Bachelor’s of Art in political science. When not at work, Lori enjoys camping, cheering for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and reading. She also helps charities, such as the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the MS Society, and Hospice of Buffalo.
