Lucien Carter is Managing Attorney at Sheffield Legal Strategies, where he advises individuals and companies on intellectual property, public policy, and startup law. Prior to founding Sheffield Legal Strategies, Lucien worked at the City of Chicago, where he provided support and guidance as Chief of Staff to the Chief Financial Officer. He started his career in entertainment and media law at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles and in public policy in the Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy in Washington, DC. Lucien received a BA from Harvard College, a JD from UCLA School of Law and is an attorney licensed in the State of Illinois.

Lucien grew up in Chicago, Illinois on Sheffield Avenue across the street from Wrigley Field, where as a youth, he sold newspapers to Cubs fans after home team wins.
