Margaret E. Schmidt is an associate attorney with Maier Gutierrez Ayon. Margaret’s practice focuses on civil litigation including real estate, business, personal injury and bankruptcy adversary proceeding in federal and state courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Margaret held associate attorney positions with the law firms Piet & Write and Marker Law and Mediation where she represented clients in the areas of family law, criminal law, business litigation and bankruptcy.

While attending law school Margaret served as the vice president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and as an extern for the Honorable Judge Jennifer Elliott in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division. In addition, she clerked for several local Las Vegas law firms. She began her career as a legal secretary in Virginia.

Originally from Wimbledon, England, Margaret grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts relocating to Las Vegas in 2008.
