Illinois bar certified attorney with extensive brief writing experience, excellent legal research and writing skills, and trial advocacy knowledge,  including national mock trial competition, Cook County felony trial defense as a 711 law student, and two years of criminal defense, civil rights, discrimination, and landlord-tenant litigation as a licensed attorney.  Areas of expertise are in the realm of public interest law, including Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income, criminal defense, civil rights, and LGBT advocacy.

Currently the Legal Director & Staff Attorney at the TransLife Center of Chicago House & Social Service Agency.  All legal services are rendered at no-cost to clients through the TransLife Center's holistic program to address issues facing Chicago's transgender and gender non-conforming communities.
