Maria is an experienced attorney advising clients on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, foreclosures, zoning, leasing, and environmental law. She also has extensive experience with residential conveyancing, title matters, and condominium law, and advises with respect to taxation, employment matters and estate planning. 

Prior to attending law school, Maria served as a manager for a Fortune 500 company providing critical services to clients such as Network Associates, San Disk Corporation, Abbott Laboratories, Home Depot, Microsoft and MacAfee, Inc. She also worked as a human resource specialist for a biotechnology company and has also served as part of the labor arbitration team for police union Local 141.

Maria earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004, a Masters of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Bachelors of Arts degree from California State University. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is the Co-Chair of the Co-Op Committee of the Northeastern University School of Law Alumni/ae Board.

Maria previously worked as an attorney at Mirick, O'Connell, DeMallie & Lougee LLP in Worcester and at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston. During law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and the Employment Division of Greater Boston Legal Services.
