Marissa Vandersluys joined Bates Winter & Talmachoff, LLP as a civil litigator, primarily focused on defense litigation. She is experienced in handling cases involving automobile insurance, homeowner’s and renter’s insurance, and personal injury matters. Ms. Vandersluys has successfully handled cases through informal settlement negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences. 

Ms. Vandersluys’ experience includes prior retention as panel counsel for CSAA Insurance, State Farm Insurance, and Progressive Insurance. Her prior practice also comprises of general civil litigation, criminal defense, and bankruptcy.
