Biography
Mark C. Miller is the President of Murphy Caris & Miller, P.C., a general practice law firm located in downtown Fremont, Michigan. Licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2005, Mark has over twelve years of experience handling a wide variety of legal matters including, criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, estate planning, driver’s license restoration, real estate, and bankruptcy matters.
Mark graduated from Ferris State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration with High Distinction. Mark received his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2005. Mark is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and in the United States District Court, Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Newaygo-Oceana Bar Association, the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, and the Debtor’s Bar of West Michigan. Mark is also a member of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce.
Mark serves in a leadership capacity for several Newaygo County Organizations. He is a member of the City of Fremont’s Downtown Development Authority. He is the President of the Newaygo County Museum & Heritage Center. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Dogwood Center for Dogwood Center for Performing Arts. He is Past-President of the Newaygo County Bar Association, a former head coach for the Muskegon Chiefs Amateur Hockey Association. Mark is also the founder and owner of Miller Hockey, a hockey agency that represents professional hockey players in North America and Europe.
