Mark Joseph Anderson is a highly skilled criminal defense attorney and the principal at the Law Offices of Thomas C. Mooney in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. A dean’s list graduate of St. Mary’s College, Maryland, Mr. Anderson completed his Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science in 1997. He then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law and secured his Juris Doctor in 2002. He obtained his license to practice law in Maryland and New York in 2003 and later in the District of Columbia (2020).

One to spread knowledge in his community, Mr. Anderson frequently speaks at seminars and instructs lawyers on trial advocacy, collision reconstruction, firearm comparisons, and a variety of other criminal law topics. He holds active affiliations with the Montgomery Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Prince George's County Bar Association, the Howard County Bar Association and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association.
