Mark Montanaro leads the firm at MontanaroLaw, P.C., with a focus on Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL), advertising, marketing, social media, trademarks, and business law. A member of the State Bar of New York, Mr. Montanaro has been active in the entertainment industry and entrepreneurship well before earning his law degree. Mr. Montanaro regularly represents individuals, small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Mark has customized MontanaroLaw as a practice to broadly serve the needs of the community. Mark represents small business and individual clients in connection with everything from traffic violations to complex contract negotiations in areas including: real estate, intellectual property, digital media rights, entertainment, software licensing, and business law.

Mark is frequently invited to sit on panels discussing issues like Social Media, Sweepstakes, and Promotions Law. He is a lecturer on business law, an adjunct instructor at Briarcliffe College, and is also an advisor to the Hofstra University Start-Ups organization, which features young aspiring entrepreneurs learning about business through hands-on experience.

Montanaro earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a minor in Business Law from Hofstra University. Later, he then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

Mark Montanaro is admitted to practice in New York. While he is not practicing law, he serves as a professional umpire for Long Island amateur baseball leagues.
