Attorney Knutson is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Wisconsin as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar and Waukesha County Bar Associations and is active in several sections.

After graduating from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1978, Mark passed the Wisconsin bar exam and started practicing law in the same year. He began his general practice firm, The Law Offices of Mark S. Knutson, S.C., as a
solo practitioner in 1994.
Mark is a former Dodge County Assistant Family Court Commissioner and former
Municipal Attorney who advised elected officials and prosecuted civil forfeiture
actions. Mark is also a founding former member of the Wisconsin Association of
Criminal Defense Lawyers. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Pat, their
daughters and their families. When possible, he’s outdoors, gardening or hunting.
He likes spending time with his friends at the Waukesha Gun Club and students
through his involvement with Elmbrook Church’s High School Ministry.
