The Law Firm of Mark S. Hanchey continues to practice primarily Criminal Defense.  I am committed to the ideal that everyone has the right to affordable and effective representation concerning criminal charges. I have handled thousands of cases in my career ranging from homicides to traffic infractions. I have practiced in virtually every jurisdiction in the state as well the United States Magistrate Court and United States District Court. I also have a very active practice on Fort Carson and the other surrounding Air Force installations as well.  As a former JAG attorney, I have a special interest and desire to help soldiers, airmen, and their dependents.  

     I have always been willing to sit down with folks facing criminal charges and speak at length with them and their loved ones, absolutely free of charge. Hiring a defense attorney is often one of the most important decisions in a person's life and it should not, therefore, be a process in which one feels rushed or pressured. My clients are much more to me than a name and number on the back of a binder. I fully realize that the result of your case might jeopardize your liberty and the security of your family. My responsibility in acting as an effective and zealous advocate for my clients is not something that I take lightly. I have always felt that attorneys who defend criminal clients are absolutely essential to the protection of personal liberty for all citizens. I am therefore unapologetic in providing aggressive representation to all defendants, regardless of their charges or backgrounds.
