I am a sole practitioner engaged in the private practice of law since 1979. Although I have handled many types of cases over the years, my  emphasis is in the area of family law, which includes divorce, annulment, legal separation, paternity, child custody, and child support.

I am an experienced trial attorney, having conducted many contested trials and hearings over the entire 36+ years of my practice. I am also a trained mediator, both in civil cases generally and in child custody matters.

I am a member of many bar associations and legal organizations, including the Christian Legal Society and our local Christian Lawyer Referral Network. It is always my natural inclination to attempt to resolve conflict with the least amount of litigation possible through either mediation or negotiation and settlement, recognizing, however, that it is necessary in some cases to be more aggressive in the advocacy of my client's rights through the courts. As both a trial attorney and a mediator, I am uniquely trained and qualified to do just that.
