I am a proud supporter, volunteer, and Pro-bono attorney for Last Chance Animal Rescue, .

As an animal adoption event leader, I lead adoption events with my daughter and other volunteers each Saturday in an effort to find rescue animals homes of their own.

Last Chance has a sanctuary in South Carolina, and rescues dogs from high kill shelters in the south where the kill rate is very high. Last Chance is foster based, and once an animal has a foster commitment, they are transported to Long Island.

On Saturdays I meet the transport van, and carry the dogs off to begin their journey of finding a forever home. Being involved in helping to make a difference in the lives of these animals is more rewarding than I could have ever thought. It is something that I have been doing for over two years, and I still look forward to each week.
