Since being admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana in 1983, Attorney Coleman has served as Temporary Judge, Judge Pro-Tem and Special Judge in all Porter County, Indiana Courts with emphasis in the Divorce Courts and Juvenile Court.

Attorney Coleman has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in over 150 cases in Porter, Lake, Jasper and La Porte Counties; for both children and adults.

Attorney Coleman has served as a Level III Parenting Time Coordinator in multiple high conflict and contested cases in Porter, Lake and La Porte Counties.

Attorney Coleman has served as Family Law Mediator in over 200 cases since being certified through ICLEF and the Indiana Supreme Court in 1999.
