Biography
Mark Delehanty, a partner at Klampe, Delehanty & Pasternak, LLC, joined the firm in 1994. He has wide legal experience and is fluent in Spanish. For the past twenty years, his practice focus is representing injured people and their families in all types of personal injury cases including auto accidents, product liability and wrongful death cases. Mark is skilled in litigating business and employment disputes. He advises clients on employment contracts and professional compensation and benefit packages. He serves as both a mediator and an arbitrator for fellow trial attorneys to assist in resolution of disputed civil cases.
Mark grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from De LaSalle High School. He worked from 1976 to 1980 in California, with Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers. He is a graduate of St. John's University. Before law school, he spent a year living in Peru volunteering with an impoverished Catholic parish. While in law school, Mark was a legal writing instructor and a director of the Civil Rights Moot Court program. He served a two-year clerkship with Judge Diane E. Murphy of the U.S. Federal District Court in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He entered private practice with the firm of Leonard, Street and Deinard, where he practiced for six years before relocating to the Rochester area.
