As required by the Washington State Bar Association Ethics Opinion # 201402, I am posting notice that I no longer participate in Avvo. Our Bar has determined that attorneys should not participate in websites that refuse to disclose how they rate attorneys. Avvo has a long history of refusing to disclose it's algorithm. Unfortunately, once claimed, Avvo will not let attorneys delete or deactive their profile, so attorneys are required to post these disclaimers.
