Marty entered private practice in 2002 at the Weymouth firm Gaughen, Gaughen, Lane & Hernando, representing individuals and businesses in all aspects of their legal needs.  Since that time, he has gained a reputation for his hands-on, innovative, and cost-effective approach to representing his clients. In 2017, Marty established the firm Winstead Law in Hanover, Massachusetts with the goal of continuing to provide legal representation of the highest quality.

Marty has been repeatedly recognized by his peers in the legal community, and has been named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" list for five years running (2012-2016).  However, the real measure of his success in practice is the number of repeat clients he enjoys and the referrals they make.
