In his 22nd year of practicing law associated with several fine law firms over the years, Mr. Koop now works as a solo practitioner.  Based in Tiffin, Ohio, Martin practices throughout the entire State of Ohio, in State and Federal Courts, depending on the nature of the case.  Martin has successfully represented hundreds of clients facing legal challenges in unique and varied practice areas, including copyright infringement, trade secrets law, farming, real estate disputes, invasion of privacy, complex business litigation, business divorces, medical malpractice, personal injury, divorce, dissolution, child custody, intra and interstate adoptions, and criminal cases. He is also an adjunct professor of Business Law at Heidelberg University and Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio and has taught Criminal Law, International Criminal Law, and Media Law.  Martin presents Music Law workshops and seminars for songwriters and attorneys as The Song Lawyer.  Martin is also a performing songwriter who serves as the regional co-coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
