Mary Jo Korona is a founding partner of Leclair Korona Vahey Cole LLP formed in 2007. Her business litigation practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial matters including contract claims and disputes among shareholders, partners and members of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies as they relate to operational issues, buy- outs, dissolutions and breaches of fiduciary duties and employment covenants.

Mary Jo also advises and represents a variety of clients on employment matters as well as municipalities in the defense of tax certiorari and other proceedings challenging the decisions of local town, zoning and planning boards. Representative on-board clients include a local college, an international chemical company and a manufacturer of recreational vehicles.

Mary Jo has successfully represented clients in proceedings before state and federal courts, federal and state human rights agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations. She is certified to mediate cases filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York pursuant to the Court’s Plan for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
