I am a proud military veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 2003-2008 as an Armor Officer. I deployed as a tank Platoon Leader with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment during Operation Iraqi Freedom III for a one-year combat deployment to FOB Iskandariyah, Iraq in 2005. I deployed again for one year to Camp Buehring, Kuwait from 2007-2008. After this deployment I received an Honorable Discharge and returned home to Georgia. My military awards include the Combat Action Badge and the Bronze Star Medal among others.
