Matthew J. Crotty, Sr. joined Neblett, Beard & Arsenault in 2013. While Mr. Crotty is involved in the firm’s complex litigation section, his practice is primarily in the personal injury area where he represents victims of serious injury and death resulting from offshore and maritime accidents, automobile accidents, slip and fall accidents, dangerous products, workplace accidents, and exposure to dangerous and toxic substances such as asbestos and Roundup. He has helped recover millions of dollars for NBA clients.

Mr. Crotty was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Louisiana by the National Trial Lawyers, a professional organization composed of the top trial lawyers from each state or region who are under the age of 40. Membership is by invitation only and is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile.

He was also recognized by The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the Top 10 Under 40 Personal Injury Attorneys in the State of Louisiana.

Born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, Mr. Crotty attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he earned his undergraduate degree in 2009. He went on to receive his law degree from Southern University Law Center in 2012. Upon graduation, he served as judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mary L. Doggett of the Ninth Judicial District Court.

Matt Crotty has also been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine. Attorneys designated as Rising Stars are up-and-coming attorneys under 40 who have practiced law for less than 10 years. He is married to Meredith Mansour Crotty and they have two sons.
