Attorney Matthew M. Hamel manages the firm's Brockton office and leads the firm's taxation law practice, primarily handling tax debt settlement and tax dispute resolution. In addition to taxation, Attorney Hamel practices consumer and business bankruptcy law (including both debtor and creditor representation) and civil litigation - primarily overseeing litigation arising in the firm's bankruptcy cases. Attorney Hamel regularly volunteers to represent debtors through the Massachusetts Debt Relief Foundation.

Attorney Hamel received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in 2016 and is presently a candidate for a Master of Laws degree, focusing in taxation, at Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law. Attorney Hamel is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the District of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Worcester County Bar Association, the National Consumer Bankruptcy Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
