With more than 15 years’ trial experience, Matthew McNicholas is a Partner of Los Angeles-based plaintiff’s law firm McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP. Mr. McNicholas is Panel Counsel to the Los Angeles Police Protective League and United Firefighters of Los Angeles City, having recovered more than $50 million on behalf of police officers, fire fighters and others who have suffered harassment, discrimination and retaliation by their departments.

He has achieved notable results, including a $32 million separation package for a client leaving her job and moving to new employment; a $30 million settlement against the highly publicized Miramonte School sexual abuse case; a $12.3 million verdict awarded to five trainees forced out of the LAPD after suffering injuries at the academy; a $9 million settlement against an international company for a 26-year-old plaintiff who suffered a brain injury as the passenger in a single-vehicle accident, and many more.
