Matthew graduated from Stetson University College of Law in the top 10% of his class and was a recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. While in law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Second District Court of Appeal under Judge Craig C. Villanti and for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida under Magistrate Judge Thomas G. Wilson. He is the proud father of two boys.
