Matthew T. Stone combines top-tier academic credentials with a deep commitment to client advocacy. A University of Pennsylvania alumnus, he earned his J.D. at Rutgers–Camden School of Law before clerking for Judge Eduardo C. Robreno in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He then spent several years at a national plaintiffs’ practice focusing on elder-abuse and neglect claims, ultimately helping to establish Murray, Stone & Wilson. In 2018, he achieved what is believed to be Pennsylvania’s highest nursing-home sexual-abuse verdict, representing a dementia-afflicted resident assaulted by a known offender. From 2013 to 2017, Super Lawyers Magazine honored him as a Pennsylvania “Rising Star,” and he sits among the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 civil plaintiffs attorneys in the state. Mr. Stone currently serves on the Philadelphia Lawyers Club board and maintains active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
