Meera Balat is a San Francisco, California native. She joined Aaron, Riechert, Carpol & Riffle, APC in May of 2017.

Ms. Balat graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she was a member of the McAuliffe Honor Society and earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Community Property. While in law school, she served as a staff member for the University of San Francisco Law Review, Case Counsel for the Moot Court Program, and tutored students in Contracts, Evidence, and Civil Procedure. Prior to law school, Ms. Balat earned a Bachelors of Science in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2014.

Ms. Balat currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer of the Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Women Lawyers Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association. She is also a tutor for the Academic and Bar Exam Success Program at the University of San Francisco, School of Law.

Ms. Balat is conversant in Arabic.
