Biography
Meighan’s practice consists primarily of civil litigation in the areas of construction and commercial disputes. She has successfully navigated her clients through all of the stages of a lawsuit—discovery, pre-trial motions practice, mediation, trial and appeal—in the Maryland and District of Columbia state and federal court systems. She is also experienced in admiralty and maritime law, personal injury/auto torts and real estate matters.
Beyond her legal practice, Meighan teaches a contract law class for the construction management program at the Community College of Baltimore County. She is an active member of the Federal Bar Association, Maryland Chapter and Secretary of Sail Baltimore, the non-profit organization that brings tall ships to the Baltimore Harbor. She is a former Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and she is a Fellow of the Baltimore Bar Foundation and Maryland Bar Foundation.
