Melinda Tucker is a probate, estate, and succession attorney based in the New Orleans, Louisiana, area.  She handles all estate litigation and Louisiana probate and succession matters for the firm.  Her practice includes simple to complex trust and estate conflict resolution and litigation, post-death estate administration, conservatorships, guardianships, and estate and small business planning.

Melinda is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Mississippi and is a former Senior Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish. She was an Assistant Attorney General in Louisiana from 1992 to 2005 where her duties included general and disciplinary counsel to numerous boards and commissions and general civil practice.

Melinda was born in Dayton, Ohio, and was a resident of New Orleans from 1971 to 2005. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans in 1977 and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 1980. She has been licensed to practice law in Louisiana since 1980 and in Mississippi since 1996.
