I decided to become a lawyer because I love to help people. I realize this would typically classify me as a "nerd" or an "outcast" in many social circumstances, but it is perfect for me to hold these traits as a lawyer. Often times the very content that drives my clients into fits of anxiety is what I enjoy -- the details and interpretation of the law. I have always been very detail-oriented, and I really enjoy the nuances of the law. I am an artist -- a writer and a dancer -- so I can naturally connect and easily communicate with my creative clients, and also provide excellent legal services.

I have prepared and filed trademark applications for international companies, as well as small businesses. I regularly communicate with the Patent and Trademark Office, and I am quite comfortable with this area of law. I am currently representing three authors with publishing agreements, two sculptors in a variety of agreements, including gallery agreements, and a number of new restaurateurs.
