Melissa Casciola received her Juris Doctor Degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2012, where she was an active member of the Family Law Society and the Innocence Initiative after first receiving her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with a minor in General Business from the University of South Florida graduating “Magna Cum Laude.”  She is a member of the Florida Bar and handles Family Law for Jodat Law Group, P.A. primarily in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.  Fresh out of law school she began practicing exclusively in the area of family law, and now manages a diverse caseload including divorce, paternity, and domestic violence cases along with post-judgment modifications of timesharing, child support, and alimony, with vast experience in handling mediations and taking cases to trial.
