Biography

Melissa Machen Chapman (f/k/a Melissa Machen Shannahan) has been practicing law for 20 years. She is a Georgia native and is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Maryland. She graduated with a B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 1997 and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003.

Melissa's practice is focused primarily on estate planning, elder law, trust planning, corporate and tax law, special needs trusts, wills, probate matters (including guardianship and conservatorship) and Medicaid planning.
