Melody Petitt is an experienced family law attorney, licensed in the state of Texas. In this position, she negotiated and tried many cases throughout the southeast region of Texas. Prior to opening her own firm, Melody worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the child support division of the Texas Attorney General’s office.

As an attorney handling divorce, custody and other family law cases, Melody understands that this can be a time of high stress and anxiety. Her goal in representation is providing clients with an accurate legal analysis of the facts and laws relevant to each client’s case so that clients are able to make informed decisions. Melody has a passion for helping families in their time of need and she values building trust with her clients and always being honest with them.

Melody Petitt is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law. During her time at Baylor, she was a member of the Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society.
