Mr. Tarry is a fourth generation Tylerite, and was born on November 28, 1981 in Tyler, Texas. He received both his Bachelor's in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Baylor University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Mr. Tarry is Partner at the law firm Tarry & Hene, PLLC, is CEO and President of Tarry Title, Inc. which has locations in Tyler, Mineola, and Longview, and is Partner of Confluence Exchange, LLC, a 1031 exchange company.

Mr. Tarry is active in his community by currently serving as Ex-Oficio for the Smith County Bar Association, as a Director of the Camp Tyler Foundation, as a Fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation. He served in the past as President, President-Elect, and Treasurer for the Smith County Bar Associtation, as Immediate-Past President, President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary for the Smith County Young Lawyers Association, as Chairman, a Regular Board Member and an Auxiliary Board Member for the Smith County Appraisal Review Board, as Law Day Chairman and Committee Member for Smith County Bar Association, and was a member of Leadership Tyler Class 29.
