Michael F. Williford is an associate at Butler Wooten & Peak LLP’s Atlanta office. He works in a variety of practice areas.

Michael was born in Atlanta and raised in Griffin, Georgia. After attending college, Michael joined the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Carl Vinson.  Upon completing his service, he returned to Atlanta to finish his education, graduating cum laude with a degree in Sociology.

He attended the Georgia State University College of Law, graduating summa cum laude. During law school he was an associate legislation editor of the Georgia State University Law Review, a student attorney in the Investor Advocacy Clinic, and a Bleckley Inn of Court pupil. He graduated in the top 5% of his class and was selected for Order of the Coif.

Michael lives in Decatur with his wife and son.
