Attorney Michael F. Gillen is a partner in the law firm Gillen & Pickelsimer, LLC located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Gillen & Pickelsimer, LLC zealously represents their clients throughout the state exclusively in the Family Courts. Michael was raised with an appreciation for hard work and family.  He completed his undergraduate studies with honors at University of South Carolina and went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1991.  While completing his undergraduate studies, he was very active in student government, Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa, both leadership and academic honors societies.  After completing his legal education, Micharl spent two years as a prosecutor with the Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office before moving into private practice.  After two years as an associate attorney, he opened his own law firm in 1996. He is married to Margaret Peeler Gillen and together they have five childre.
