My primary focus is criminal defense. I've defended charges including homicide, drug trafficking and drug possession, sex crimes, theft, burglary and other property crimes, domestic violence charges, firearms and crimes of violence, traffic and DUI cases, and matters involving the civil or criminal forfeiture of property and money. I also handle restoration of civil rights, including: expungements, pardons, relief from criminal convictions, and relief from sex offender registration requirements. I accept some family law matters, too.  I practice before both the State and Federal judiciary. I practice extensively in the First District (Idaho's 5 northern counties), and occasionally will accept cases in the 2nd District as well.
