I came to work at Doar, Drill and Skow in the spring of 1990 as a law clerk.  My first assignments typically involved preparing cases for Jim Drill, Dell Skow and Tom Bell to try.  These three lawyers had almost 100 years of combined trial knowledge when I began working for them.  Consequently, I had a great opportunity of experience to absorb from.

Not long after passing the bar examination in 1991, I began  trying my own cases, and still working closely with the other more senior members of the firm.

As the years passed, my own trial practice developed.  Today I am lucky to still work with Jim Drill and Dell Skow as well as the other members of my firm: Lisa Drill, Matt Biegert, Aaron Nelson, Anne Schmiege, Christine Rasmussen and my wife, Annie Brose.

I also consider myself fortunate to work and live in a part of Wisconsin that retains its rural character, yet is close to the Twin Cities, where my wife and I grew up.

Annie and I have three school aged boys.  They are active in youth athletics - and, as a consequence, so are we.
