Biography
Mike has spent his entire professional career in Philadelphia practicing in the fields of employment law and general commercial litigation. He has received various recognitions and honors for his work, including being named the Lawyer of the Year in the Philadelphia region in the category of Employment Law - Individuals in 2017 by Best Lawyers in America.
Mike is a longstanding Board Member of the Family Hope Center in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The Center treats brain-injured children from across the globe. He is very active in the Lower Merion School District, serving on the Board of the Committee for Special Education, and as a member on the District's ad hoc committee on elementary school curriculum.
ad hocMike has served as a charter member of the Philadelphia Committee for the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. He was appointed to an initial 3 year term on the national board of the Prize in 2015, and reappointed in 2018.
Mike lives in Narberth, Pennsylvania with his wife, a teacher, and two children. He is the Chair of the Narberth Civil Service Commission. A composer and playwright in his free time, he is the co-author, lyricist and composer of A House Divided, which had its world premiere in a sold out run at Narberth Community Theatre in May, 2018. He recently completed a term as a Board member of the theatre as well.
