Michael Joe worked several years as a deputy district attorney for the Merced County District Attorney’s Office. During his time as a prosecutor, he conducted numerous jury and court trials. Michael Joe has considerable experience advocating in the courtroom in all stages of litigation. Michael Joe transitioned to private practice as a personal injury attorney where he has obtained highly favorable results for his clients. Michael Joe returned to his home in the Central Valley to start up Silva Injury Law where he continues to fight for his clients and obtain excellent results.

Michael Joe received his law degree from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from Brigham Young University. Michael Joe was born and raised in the Central Valley to Portuguese immigrant parents from the Azores Islands of Portugal. He is fluent in the Portuguese language. When he is not working, he is spending time with his beautiful wife (high school sweetheart) and three daughters. Michael Joe enjoys fitness training, wildlife, scary movies, theater and listening to The Beach Boys.
