Those values have become the brand of my civilian career as legal counselor to municipal, business and construction clients. People believe in honest, solutions-oriented partners. That is my calling - to guide clients through today's increasingly complex legal challenges.

I enjoy helping cities, contractors and businesses achieve common sense solutions through vigorous representation. If dispute resolution should fail, I am prepared to fight for my clients in court. I have a particularly strong background in federal procurement and claims procedures.

After practicing law in Washington, DC for four years, the Pacific Northwest called me back home. My wife and I returned to Spokane to begin civilian practice and raise our family. I spent 14 years in private practice as a partner at the largest law firm in Spokane and the oldest in the State of Washington. Today I am honored to serve as the City Attorney for Cheney, Washington and continue to serve neighbor and nation in the Air National Guard. I enjoy coaching youth baseball and pray that the Seattle Mariners will someday rekindle the "refuse to lose" spirit of the Lou Piniella era.
