Michael L. Smith received his Juris Doctor degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Smith also practices in the following federal courts: The United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Mr. Smith is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, the Prince George's County Bar Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Mr. Smith, an experienced trial attorney, handles a variety of cases that include, but are not limited to, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, criminal defense and family law.
