Biography
Michael Ruttle graduated summa cum laude (top 5%) from Whittier Law School in 2012, with a concentration in International & Comparative law. There, he served as President of the Moot Court Honors Board, and was a member of the Whittier Law Review. During law school, Michael participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Portland, Oregon, where he was recognized as one of the top oral advocates. Michael graduated with a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2006.
summa cum laudePrior to law school, Michael spent years living and working abroad. In Seville, Spain, Michael worked as a translator/interpreter where he worked with major international organizations, including NATO. In Costa Rica, Michael continued working as an interpreter, but also worked as a teacher and consultant to employers doing business with U.S. corporations.
Currently, Michael serves his clients with Business Entity Formation, Business Transactions (international & domestic), Immigration issues associated with those transactions, and protects consumers under the California Lemon Law. He is licensed to practice in all California courts, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association – International Law Section.
Michael lives with his wife in Redondo Beach, California where they both enjoy surfing, martial arts and playing music. A linguist at heart, Michael speaks fluent Spanish, is conversant in Portuguese, and currently studying Czech.
