Attorney Mike Bascom devotes his practice to estate planning. Mike is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida. He is accredited by the Department of Veteran Affairs to assist veterans and their families in filing claims. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, and the United States District Courts of the Northern District of Georgia and the Middle District of Florida.

Mike represents clients in all matters involving estate planning, elder law, powers of attorney, wills, revocable living trusts, charitable gifts, irrevocable trusts, limited liability company and family limited partnerships, health care advance directives, living wills, incapacity, adult guardianships, probate avoidance, Medicaid eligibility, Veteran’s benefits, probate and estate administration, and trust administration.

Mike served three terms as the Chairman of the Georgia Forum for the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. He was the organizer of the regional conference for the Mid-South Forum of the same organization. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel.

Mike earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He earned his Bachelors Degree (Economics) from Brigham Young University, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
